Sebastian Chua has held several regional positions in Alcatel Lucent, Citibank, Microsoft and HP. Currently, Sebastian is the head of procurement for one of Singapore’s well known government entities- the Health Promotion Board. His experience includes providing leadership in category sourcing strategies & operational excellence which have greatly contributed to the reduction in the organization’s indirect spend, process efficiencies and supply base rationalization. He also has experience in launching a pioneer transformation initiative for outsourcing the operational finance & tactical procurement functions around Accounts Payable, Records, Payroll and Procurement transactional services. Sebastian will be giving his insights on procurement transformation to move from just procedures to high performance and ensuring that every single procurement personnel is responsible to deliver beyond his/her base role
